Grades K-2 Co-Ed Tennis
Dates: April 20 - June 10, 2020

Mondays & Wednesdays 3:30 - 5:30 P.M.
OR
Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:30 - 5:30 P.M.

One Day Option is Available

K-2 after-school tennis starts with fun games and drills to learn the fundamentals. With continued practice, students will develop the techniques and skills needed to become a true tennis player.

ONE DAY OPTION on/before March 19: $130

Grades 3-4 Co-Ed Tennis
Dates: April 20 - June 10, 2020
 

Mondays & Wednesdays 3:30 - 5:30 P.M.

Grades 3-4 tennis players will sharpen skills and learn scoring and game play.

Grades 5-8 Co-Ed Tennis
Dates: April 20 - June 10, 2020

*Requires carpool to offsite area courts in Golden Valley. 

The 5-8 Heilicher tennis team will focus on tennis fundamentals and allow students to practice game play.

Grades K-2 Co-Ed Entry-Level Bike Skills
Dates: April 20 - June 10, 2020

Mondays & Wednesdays 3:30 - 5 P.M.
 

The Heilicher Lions grades K-2 beginner group will practice body positioning, shifting, braking, cornering, ascending, and descending techniques with the goal of progressing to the Heilicher Lions Mountain Biking Development Team. We will bike on paths adjacent to Heilicher and the Sabes JCC. Helmets and bikes required.

Minimum of 6 registrants is required for the program to start. Maximum of 12 students. Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. A waitlist will be created once the class is full. 

 

Grades 2-5 Co-Ed FUN-damentals of Mountain Biking
Dates: April 20 - June 10, 2020

Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:30 - 5 P.M.
 

The Heilicher Lions grades 2-5 development team will practice body positioning, shifting, braking, cornering, ascending, and descending techniques with the goal of riding sections of the single track trail at Theodore Wirth Park, located adjacent to Heilicher and the Sabes JCC. Helmets and mountain bikes required.

Minimum of 6 registrants is required for the program to start. Maximum of 12 students. Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. A waitlist will be created once class is full. 
 

Grades 5-8 Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee
Dates: April 21 - June 2, 2020

Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:45 - 5:15 P.M.
and
Sundays (time TBD)

The 5-8 Heilicher ultimate frisbee team will work on improving skills and speed. Practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays and games on Sundays in the Minnesota Middle School Ultimate League.

All teams have a paid coach and possible parent assistants.
Transportation to/from ultimate frisbee games will require parent carpools.

Payment will be handled through your account on file with the school. Fees for athletics will be posted to your account during the season for which you are registering. Please note: If you are paying by credit card, a 4% handling fee will be applied to your total bill.

Please note: Any K-6 student participating in a Heilicher extracurricular and who is not picked up within 10 minutes of the end of the activity will be brought to HaBonim and parents/guardians will be charged the HaBonim Bet rate of $10 per student. This is to help ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
