Thank you to the more than 400 guests who attended the 2018 Heilicher Annual Benefit honoring Suzanne Fenton and Dan Lieberman on March 15 at Beth El Synagogue.
It was inspiring to hear from our honorees Suzanne Fenton and Dan Lieberman about the passion for the school that grew as their children attended Heilicher. Suzanne and Dan received the Ner Tamid Award, a recognition given to those who show exemplary commitment and leadership to the school.
Their boys, Charles, Emet, and Leo, shared how their experiences at Heilicher have strengthened their lives as Jewish community members in high school, college, and beyond.
Dan's parents, Sheila and Steve Lieberman, served as honorary benefit co-chairs and spoke about the importance of maintaining a vibrant Jewish community and Jewish education's key role in that pursuit.
The benefit raised more than $300,000 from our generous community fueling Heilicher's rigorous and growing academic program. This year's Fund-a-Need raised $38,825 in gifts to support youth arts programming in partnership with Sabes JCC. We are so grateful to our community.
